VCSEL INTRODUCTION

VCSEL is a semiconductor micro-laser emitting cylindrical light beam vertically from the surface of the chip. VCSEL is improving a coupling through fiber and a sensing accuracy compare to conventional LD or IRLED. There are various types of packages, including the TO-46 metal can with mini or dome lens, the epoxy mold type, etc.
