The HLE-1ML2 and 1ML3 are high power GaAlAs LEDs mounted in a TO-18 type header with clear epoxy encapsulation.
With a peak wavelength of 830nm, these LEDs are spectrally matched to the minimum attenuation region of polymer-clad silica cables.
